    Wander Women Adventure Group

    Join us each Sunday at 8:00 AM for an empowering opportunity to move together and make new friends. Women of all ages and fitness levels will gather for a run or walk. The focus is on creating a supportive space where participants can enjoy nature, connect with others, and have fun. The group promotes inclusivity, celebrating all paces and experiences, and aims to provide encouragement, build community, and offer a break from the weeks stresses. Make sure to check below as meeting locations will vary!

    Date: Sunday, February 22nd @ 8 a.m. 

    Run From PRIME Sports Institute

    Special Guest: PRIME Owner, Kerry Gufstason - Stick around after the adventure to get a tour of PRIME Institute. Kerry will give us tools that we can use to prevent injury and accelerate recovery. 

    Distance: 3 - 6 miles along Whatcom Creek Trail to Whatcom Falls. 

    Where: Meet at PRIME Sports Institute - Park at Bellingham Fitness next door

    Date: Sunday, March 1st @ 8 a.m. 

    Lake Padden Horse Trails

    Special Collaboration With Shifting Gears for Wild Women Week

    Distance:  We will follow the Padden Mudfest's 5k or 10 Marked Courses

    Where: Meet at Lake Padden's East Entrance near the playground

    North Lake Whatcom - Hertz or Chanterelle Trail

    Distance:  Option to do the five-mile Chanerelle out & back or run along the waterfront for a flatter route

    Where: Meet at the North Lake Whatcom Parking Lot/ AKA Chanterelle Trailhead

    Fragrance Lake

    Distance: Five-mile route to Fragrance Lake and back

    Where: Meet at the Lost Lake Parking Lot (Discover Pass is needed)

    Interurban Trail 

    Special Event: Post Chuckanut 50k Celebration with a Brooks Nail Station. After the adventure, head back to the store to pretty up your toenails!

    Distance:  Run as far as you'd like along the Interurban Trail from Fairhaven Runners 

    Where: Meet at Fairhaven Runners

    Barkley Village Pond/ Railroad Trail to Whatcom Falls

    Special Guest: Mary Glaze of My Pace Fitness

    Join Mary and Melissa near the Barkley Pond at 8 am for warm-ups with My Pace before heading out on the Railroad Trail toward Whatcom Falls Park (4ish miles out and back). Meet back at Barkley Pond at 9:15 a.m. for core work and stretching. 

    Distance:  4 Miles with the option to go shorter or longer. 

    Where: the Barkley Pond Trail just off Woburn near the Regal Theaters

    Distance:  4 Miles with the option to go shorter or longer. 

    Where: Meet in the Parking Lot off of Lake Louise Drive.

    Interurban Trail to Chuckanut Falls

    Distance: 6 Miles (Or shorter) - Start at Fairhaven Park and run as long as you'd like along the Interurban Trail Southbound

    Pine and Cedar Lakes to Raptor Ridge (From Old Samish)

    Distance: Full route 5.5 miles | Elevation Gain: 1900ft | Difficulty: Challenging / Shorter Route Options to Pine and Cedar Lakes 3-4 miles

    Where: Pine and Cedar Lakes Parking Lot -Old Samish Way

    Galbraith Mountain Northside From Birch Street

    Distance:  4 - 6 Miles 

    Where: Meet at the top of Birch Street (off of Lakeway)
