Cornwall Park
Home to many area cross country running events, 100 year old Cornwall Park offers a veritable cornucopia of underfoot surfaces. Nestled in this city oasis, you can stride over open grass fields, forest floors, hard packed dirt, gravel, pavement and wood bridges. A virtual runner's playground, the fun here is to make up your route as you go, never making any one loop of the park the same as the last. By hugging the perimeter of the park you'll come upon undulating, winding sections of forest trail, some that may be unfamiliar to park users. Finally, watch out for flying discs as the park is also shared with disc golfers.
