Registration & Packet Pick-Up
Fairhaven Runners Chuckanut Footrace 2007

Registration is now open to all runners and walkers for the Saturday, July 7 race!

Important: To ensure a smooth day for the 40th Chuckanut Footrace, THERE WON'T BE DAY-OF-RACE REGISTRATION. You can register for the race up until Thursday, July 5, 2007, 7 PM. Mailed entries must be postmarked by Friday, June 29, 2007, because of holiday.

Here are three ways to register:

  • Register and pay in person at Fairhaven Runners & Walkers.

Entry Fee

  • $25 US, which includes commemorative race technical shirt from New Balance.
  • Greater Bellingham Running Club member race entries are free, if member prior to race day. Because race is complimentary, no shirt is included but may be purchased for $12. Along with all participants, all GBRC members must also register by Thursday, July 5, 2007, 7 PM.
Race Packet & Chip Pick-Up
Race packet and chip pick-up will be at Marine Park day-of-race only. See schedule and directions below. Timing chips must be returned at finish chute or $30 fee will be assessed.

Race Day Schedule
7:00 AM - 8:30 AM | Race packet and chip pick-up at Marine Park in Fairhaven (directions below).
9:00 AM | Race start.
10:00 AM | Awards start at Larrabee State Park.

Directions to Start
To get to Marine Park, where the race starts, take Interstate 5, exit 250 west, and follow signs for the Bellingham Cruise Terminal and Alaska Ferry. Park in designated areas only.

Parking & Shuttle
The Chuckanut Footrace starts at Marine Park in Fairhaven, winds for seven miles along Chuckanut Bay, and ends at Larrabee State Park. Because of extremely limited space at Larrabee, there is no parking at the finish. Racers: you can run or walk the course, then hop a shuttle bus to quickly return to your vehicle at the start. Spectators: you can cheer racers at the start, then ride the shuttle to the finish and back again to your vehicle at the start.
